Idaho Commercial & Residential Real Estate Classes

The Idaho Real Estate Commission has recognized the Law Office of Arthur B. Macomber as a Certified Provider of continuing education for real estate agents. As an instructor, Mr. Macomber utilizes more than 15 years of corporate training experience and the recent addition of his faculty appointment at North Idaho College to offer real estate agents the best in contract training.

Mr. Macomber has designed an Advanced Contracts course that covers the standard Idaho Residential One-to-Four Unit Sales and Purchase Agreement. This course is available to any individual real estate agent or non-agent who wants to dig in to this contract so that a full understanding of the provisions is gained. Simply filling in the form with numbers that appear sufficient to that single sentence may alter other provisions leading to impossible conditions or difficult to reconcile last minute negotiations. All can be avoided by prior understanding of the contract's provisions and good planning prior to writing an offer.

Idaho real estate practices differ widely from those in other States. Mr. Macomber was a practicing Realtor in the East Bay in California prior to moving to Idaho. While California remains a buyer-oriented State, Idaho's contracts are seller-oriented. Many buyers from out-of-state are surprised at the differences and should get counseling regarding Idaho's residential sales and purchase contract prior to making an offer on real estate in Idaho.

Mr. Macomber is available for consultation by calling his office, or by requesting an appointment through the Contact Us page of this website.
